“I was born among the fields of Poitou and Limousin in the west of France and have always embraced my rural roots. I was raised in a family of farmers and I enjoyed having a role in the life of the farm. After secondary school, I studied journalism but I kept being drawn back to agriculture and its intense and rewarding rituals, its passionate but exhausting universe. I returned to the land for good in September 2012 and I haven’t left since.
I’ve always been passionate about motorcycles and especially trail riding. I’ve raced motocross since I was 15 years old and I’ve spent 13 seasons competing in the regional league and started on an enduro motorcycle in 2002. After receiving my full motorcycle license, I obtained my official French qualifications for touring with trail bikes and quads (CQP Rando Moto Verte), as well as my motor sport certificate (CASM), and my diploma for basic first aid training (PSC 1). I’ve got a lot kilometres under my belt, both highway and trail: Limousin, Poitou-Charentes, Jura, Lot, the Loire Valley, the Basque Country, Béarn, Provence, Spain…
My travels have allowed me to develop a good level of English. Not only will I be able to guide you and give you the local history in English, I can also interpret for you when we visit the various artisans and landmark sites.
